We are looking for a Head of Marketing and PR to help us grow and sustain our organization. Like all staff positions at PPC, this is an unpaid role, but you'll get to enjoy special staff benefits and assist with building our future convention experience.
Our Head of Marketing and PR will have the following responsibilities:
- Managing PPC’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and possibly TikTok and Patreon or Ko-fi in the future
- Scheduling, posting, and organizing updates and announcements
- Designing and running marketing campaigns
- Writing updates for and running our email newsletter
- Creating content updates and early information drops for patrons
- Working with our Head of Art, Design, and Merchandise to create graphics for social media
- Answering questions from comments, direct messages, and email, and updating our FAQs with questions that come up frequently
- Keeping our website up-to-date with the latest event information
